Description: Exploring the connection between collaborative movement and sound.

 

Join us for a unique Contact Improvisation experience where we will delve into the connection between movement and sound. During our time together, Jaqui will guide us through a series of exercises designed to help us drop into the present moment, fully embody our movements, and connect with the entire space. We will then transition into a journey of improvisational sound by Amery Kessler. As an improvisational musician, Amery creates captivating soundscapes that enhance the exploration of movement, allowing the dancers and movers to influence the nature of the music through their own physical expressions.

 

This event is open to individuals of all levels of experience and welcomes all bodies. Whether you are a seasoned practitioner or new to Contact Improvisation, "RESONANCE" offers a supportive environment for everyone.
